ANNOUNCING OUR 2022 SCHOLARSHIP

​
The MEDC Biden Harris Community Service Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Franklin Regional Senior who exemplifies a spirit of community service. Applicants will be required to submit an essay describing how they serve the community and what inspired them to such service.  
For the 2022 award, candidates must submit their completed application by March 13, 2022.

THE MEDC IS NOW IN THE 
​
12TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

The newly drawn Congressional District map puts Murrysville, Export, Jeanette and parts of North Huntington in the 12th Congressional District along with the eastern section of the city of Pittsburgh and its eastern suburbs.

WHAT THIS MEANS TO US
In addition to helping elect JOSH SHAPIRO for GOVERNOR, we will also, for the first time in a FULL DECADE, be able to cast a vote to elect a Democrat to Congress. The 12th Congressional District is SOLID BLUE, making the Primary Election an important and determining one.  The Democratic candidate who wins in the May Primary, will almost certainly be elected in November.
